Liturgical Committee
Mission: To Make liturgical celebration meaningful, prayerful, joyful, and most of all participatory worship for all through the proclamation of the Word, Hymns, Services and Visuals.
The liturgical Committee comprises of nine organizations. Each organisation will have their own contact person.

1. ART MINISTRY
Mission: To strive by God's grace, to promote an atmosphere suitable for all Eucharistic and Liturgical celebrations.
The ministry's existence is to bring forth to the congregation an awareness of the different liturgical seasons in the church portrayed in the various art forms.

2. MINISTRY OF WARDENS
Mission: To strive and serve the needs of the church and its parishioners with holiness, humility and patience.
Patron Saint: Saint Stephen
Serves the community and provides hospitality by directing parishoners to their seats and to available car parking lots. It helps maintain order in the liturgical assembly.

3. Choirs Help celebrate and build community through song and praise and thanksgiving to God. They contribute to the Eucharistic Celebration by providing accompanying music and cator singing. Do join us in song if you can frequent a specific time for Mass. Ask anyone in the choir, they should be able to help you if you are keen on joining. These are the choirs you should look out for.

4. Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion Appointed to assist priests in distributing Holy Communion at all Masses.

5. Lectors and Commentators
Mission: To touch the assembly so that they are deawn into a shared experience with God; for Lectors to grow in loving knowledge of the scripture, the living Word of God.
This group comprises of lectors and commentators for daily and weekend masses and their task is to make God present in the liturgy of the word for the OLPS community. The Word of God is shared with the community by reading the Church's selections from the Bible at mass.
6. St. PIux X Altar Servers
Mission: To build a family of Altar Servers through their commitment of faith, service and community, empowering each of them to become Men of fellow men and Men of God.
Assist the priest and the Sacristan in preparing for Mass. An altar server is a lay assistant to a member of the clergy during the Eucharistic Celebration.

7. St. Gabriel's Cantor
Mission: To share with all the love of God reflected in the beauty of His words and music, to encourage commitment to Jesus Christ and to extend a helping hand towards human needs in Church and in the community at large.
Comprises a group of vocalists who, as Cantors, sing and lead in the congregational singing of the Responsorial Psalm and other sung parts of the liturgy.

8. Audio, Visual and Animating (AVA)
Mission: To facilitate the participation of the Church congregation in the celebration of Mass.
